Xavier Morales, Esq. is a licensed trademark attorney. In October 2007, The Trademark Insider named Mr. Morales the #1 Trademark Attorney in the United States as determined by the number of trademark applications filed during the second quarter of 2007.

Mr. Morales founded his trademark law practice in January 2007 with the goal of providing intellectual property expertise to entrepreneurs and businesses around the country. Mr. Morales' law practice emphasizes trademark registration, counseling and enforcement.

Over the years, Mr. Morales has assisted a diverse range of clients in all areas of trademark law, including the evaluation and clearance of marks, the prosecution of trademarks before the USPTO, and representation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Additionally, Mr. Morales assists clients with issues relating to copyrights and Internet disputes involving domain names. While admitted to practice only in New York, Mr. Morales' practice area enables him to represent clients throughout the United States.

Prior to beginning his own trademark law practice, Mr. Morales was an intellectual property associate at the international law firm of Baker Botts L.L.P. in New York, where he concentrated on all aspects of trademark and copyright law. While at Baker Botts, Mr. Morales helped build and sustain strong trademark portfolios for dozens of multinational companies in a variety of industries.

Mr. Morales received his law degree from Harvard Law School. While attending Harvard, Mr. Morales served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Latino Law Review.

Mr. Morales also graduated from Stanford University with a double-major in Economics and Philosophy & Religious Studies.
